Crushing on Captain Jack

I just finished watching the People's choice awards. I agreed with almost all of the awards so I guess I'm definitely one of the people! My Johnny won favorite actor of the decade. You might know him better as Jack Sparrow. Ok, it might not be Johnny Depp that I love, it's the characters he plays. Gals of all ages fell in love with Captain Jack. I know, what an unlikely crush. Crushing on a drunken, dirty, effeminate pirate, girls are so contrary. Actually before Captain Jack, I was in love with his character in Chocolat. He played a very sexy gypsy in that movie. I was actually torn then between him and wanting a cup of the thick hot chocolate they kept featuring. Yum! Recently, I fell for him as John Dillinger. I got all choked up when he was shot at the end. So do you see the theme here? It's the appeal of the bad boy. The charmer living on the edge. Ok, I admit it, I'm a sucker for that bad boy grin. Isn't it funny that I married one of the good guys? Not really. Bad boys have their fleeting appeal. But it is just that fleeting. They are all smoke and mirrors with no real substance. So give me my knight in shining armor any day!
