Snow Day!

Snow Day! I am so thankful. Steven is missing this first week of school because of his surgery. These snow days just help him not miss so much classroom time. I'm very relieved. He's looking better each day as the swelling goes down. He's still pretty 'out of it'. He isn't feeling well enough to play his video games much so he is a little bored. He's also frustrated with having to eat a liquid diet for now. I told him that he could have other soft food whenever he felt ready. I know he is super bummed to miss out on the snow day activities. He loves snow. The rest of us are beach people but Steven loves the snow. I think this surgery was more than he anticipated. He asks lots of questions about when he will be able to do this or that. He was not happy when I told he he definitely will not be having pizza for 6 weeks.
