Just Stay Calm

We are in the midst of confusion. Kristen's labs have not improved so she will be having a bone marrow biopsy tomorrow. I feel calm but confused. I turned to pick up a book that has helped me as a resource since the beginning of Kristen's illness. It referenced Exodus 14. In verses 13-14 it says, "Don't be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The Lord Himself will fight for you. Just stay calm." I have no idea what is going on inside Kristen's body. I do know that the Lord knows what is happening in every cell in her body. He has the power to heal. For all I know He has been working on this even before it became apparent that all was not as it should be. You know that the Devil would like nothing better than to keep us in turmoil. I just give thanks that the Holy Spirit is working within me to bring about calm.
