So, one reason I started this today was to comment on some news items.

Can you believe the 72 year old great grandma in TX that was tasered? I'm just dumbfounded that she received money because the county wanted to avoid a lawsuit. Did you see the dashboard video? She claimed that she was not difficult. Please. Just because she is a great grandma does not mean that she could get away with speeding in a work zone. The entire episode was handled wrong by ggma and the officer. They both allowed their tempers to get out of control. Ggma give the money back and admit you behaved badly. You were trying to get out of a ticket by using the little old lady thing. And Mr. Officer, tasing a ggma? What were you thinking?

Can you believe the little boy who took the camping utility knife to school? Poor kid is being sent to reform school? If you saw the coverage, he obviously didn't know he was in the wrong at the time. When asked to hand it over he did right away. He said he took it too school so he could eat lunch with it. Sounds like a kid who was excited about a cool new toy, not a juvenile delinquent. I can understand a suspension but reform school?
