Paying it Forward

Yesterday I remember praying that God show himself to me in our situation. Today I saw one way He is using our situation to further His Kingdom.

We ran into a mom and daughter that we would visit with during our time in transplant this summer. I had given them a copy of the book, The Red Sea Rules by Robert Morgan. They read the book and were moved enough to share its message with others. Since then the mom has gone on to order more copies of the book and hand them out to her friends. It's a tiny little book that spoke to me at a time when I needed to hear its message. Basically it reminds us that the same God that parted the Red Sea is with us in our current difficulty. It also suggests that God might have a purpose for you where you are right here right now. I am not suggesting that God caused the cancer. Just that He can use you where ever you are, whatever your circumstance. Will we let Him? Or will we shut Him out?
