In the Spotlight, Not always the place to be.

One prayer that I am constantly seeing God answer is the prayer for Him to change me for the better. I've prayed for Him to show me the wrongs that I do in my life. Not only to show me but to give me the ability to change. It's only by His Grace that I will be able to change. Recently I had Him answer this for me. I'm not going to share the situation with you or the sin for which God convicted me. Let's just say that He took off my blinders and showed me the sin from the view point of those around me. Wow! ... Wow! It was like a spotlight went on. It showed me the specific action. And went on to show me how it effected those around me. I was truly stunned. After something like this happens, I can then pray for freedom from this particular sin. Being able to acknowledge it and ask for freedom from this sin is akin to having a weight lifted off your shoulders.

If you haven't prayed sincerely for God to show you the error of your ways, please take the time to do so. It may be answered over time, in small increments, but it WILL be answered. Why am I so confident? Because this falls in line with God's will for us. That we would draw closer to Him by acknowledging and asking forgiveness for our sins.

God is good and His timing is perfect.
