Treasures-Our Children

Last night we attended a banquet supporting K-life. For those of you who don't know, K-life is a youth ministry. Steven and his friends have been attending K-life for several years and LOVE it. He attends the Tuesday night worship at the barn and he and a group of other 10th grade boys get up early on Friday mornings to attend small group before school. I for one appreciate the dedication of Richard and Abby and all the other young adults that take their time to mentor to our kids. While the world is telling them that they should be this or that. These mentors give them a safe place to be themselves and feel free to show their love of Christ. Instead of feeling alone they have others that stand with them. Devin and I were proud to attend the banquet last night and support this ministry. K-life is self funded and depends on the support of parents and others who believe in their mission.
